The Middle Tennessee State University Todd Art Gallery is hosting a Spoken Word Performance event on Saturday, ­­­­­­­­­January 26, 2019. 

The Department of Art and Design is now accepting proposals from students, emerging, and mid-career artists whose art practice is concerned with performance, text, and spoken word. The performances will be scheduled between 12-2 pm on the 26th, in the Todd Art Gallery, with Open Mic to follow. 

Performances should relate indirectly or directly to communication, text, literacy, social constructs, socio economic systems, and power relationships. 

Proposals should include a project description, duration of performance and technical requirements.
