Ends on March 15, 2018

The Middle Tennessee State University Todd Art Gallery will be hosting a Spoken Word Performance and Video event on Saturday, March 31, 2018.  The Department of Art and Design is now accepting proposals from students, emerging, and mid-career artists whose art practice is concerned with performance, text, and spoken word. The performances will be scheduled between 11-2 pm on the 31st, around the Todd Building on MTSU’s campus, with videos playing on monitors concurrently.

Performances should relate indirectly or directly to text, communication, education, socio-economic inequities, literacy, or spoken word.

Proposals should include your project description, duration of performance or video and technical requirements. Submissions are free.

Preference will be given to those artists that can be present to perform and/or discuss their work on March 31. No stipends for expenses are available.
